1) How can i generate an interrupt form the PMIC to a am5726 signaling powerdown in imminent.

2) Can the processor use the POWERHOLD input to prevent shutdown of the PMIC until the AM5726 is in the proper state for a graceful power doen.

Hi Mark,

RESET_OUT is typically used to show that the device is going to power down as it is the first pin sequenced to go low during the power down sequence for the device. Section 3 of the TPS659037 User's Guide to Power AM574x, AM572x, and AM571x (Rev. F) shows the different connections between the processor and the PMIC, including Figure 3 and 4 which cover two different uses of POWERHOLD for different use cases.
