  • Hey Jmyang,

    Just to confirm, you are using 0x0075 DASTATUS5() to read the maximum cell temperature correct? Refer to table 4-5 to get bytes for Max Cell Temperature. BQStudio shows average values by default.

    Settings those two bits should not affect the maximum temperature reading. Those bits allow the internal die temp to be read as a FET/Cell temp so that any FET/Cell protections can be enabled if the die rises above a certain temperature.
