TPS53632: Would the TPS53632 support other power stage such as CSD95378B

Hello,

I have a question regarding the power stage CSD95372A used in TPS53632 datasheet page 23 reference application.

Could we use a CSD95378B and use its IOUT with a 5:1 voltage divider for current sensing? (assume the CSD95378B IOUT=5mV/A; a 5:1 voltage divider would convert to 1mV/A)

Do you mean you would like to use IMON reporting of CSD95378B for TPS53632 instead of DCR current sense?

No, TPS53632 only can use DCR current sense or shunt resistor current sense structure.

Thanks for your hint.

I didn't notice that the CSN1 secondary OVP functionality. Now I understand why TPS53632 can only use DCR current sensing.
