BQ27520-G4: How to check the correctness of the golden image written to the gauge

Part Number: BQ27520-G4
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO, EV2400

Hello,

I had generate a golden image for bq27520G4 using EV2400 and bqStudio.

Then I program our host device to write the .bq.fs or .df.fs to the gauge through I2C.

I use bqStudio to read out the data memory in the I2C programmed gauge, and fortunately it is the same as the data memory of the golden image.

But we can not use bqStudio during mass production.

I wonder if there is a method we can ensure the correctness of the data in the gauge through I2C.

Or as long as the checksum (write to guage's register 0x64 and read 0x66) during I2C programing is correct, the data written to the gauge is reliable?

Thanks for the help.

Sincerely,
Benjamin Kao
