TPS62135: Is there any recommended resister size?

Part Number: TPS62135

Hi Experts,

My customer is asking about any recommended resister's size in below.

Is there any recommended size? Or, can customer use any size of resisters?

  • Hello Uchikoshi,

When selecting R1 and R2 to program the output voltage, R2 should be kept less than 400kΩ to allow at least 2uA. The following equation/table can be used when selecting R1 and R2. It is recommended to use 1% resistors for R1 and R2 for best output voltage accuracy.

For R3 the limitation is that the current going into the PG pin must not exceed 2mA. In most cases R3 = 100kΩ will work.

The package size of the resistors is typically around 0603.

    Thanks,

    Joseph
