LM3671: Line regulation claim accuracy

Part Number: LM3671

The line regulation of the LM3671 claims to be 0.031% while the closest alternate that I can find in the same package size is about 0.26%. There is a large difference between the two according to the datasheets but I need to know if this claim is accurate or a typo. Something doesn't seem right with it. What alternatives exist that are comparable in a SOT-23-5 package?

I agree, this is a typo. These are actually some of our very old devices that we do not promote these days. If it is for a new design, I recommend using newer devices like:

TLV62568 or TPS62A0x

What is the Application?

Would you be interested in other packages as well?

Thank you for a quick response. This is for an optical sensor but we are having a lot of issues with noise. I have isolated it to this regulator being the culprit by swapping out regulators with a board that doesn't have noise. The noise follows the regulator. I have a separate LDO to supply power to the sensor but the LM3671 is introducing noise into the entire system. I need the small package size due to the very small pcb size.

That is undecided yet. If I can eliminate the noise without changing the PCB layout then not in the near future. Eventually, yes.
