LM2611: Schematic review

Part Number: LM2611

Hi Team

There is a good new that we DIN TI LM2611AMF !

Can you check the SCH to see if they need to be modified?

  • Hello Cheng,

The voltage rating of the diode will not be sufficient, you will need a 30V type minimum plus leave some margin.

The datasheet recommends:  Adjust RFB2 to set a different output voltage  to avoid an influence on the compensation.
    So this would result in the following values: RFB1 = 29.4k, RFB2 = 3.36k.

Didi you change RFB1 on purpose to have an influence on the compensation?

    The datasheet also states:
TI recommends connecting a 0.1-µF or 1-µF ceramic bypass capacitor on the VIN pin (pin 5) of the IC. This capacitor must be connected very close to pin 5
So, I would also recommend adding this capacitor to the circuit.

    Best regards,
    Harry
