REF3312: resistor divider selection

Hi Team,

we'd like to get 0.5V first using REF3312 and REF35125, then get 0.45V from 0.5V.

I see there is below circuit in REF3312 datasheet to get a voltage from OUT of REF3312 but no guide on range of R6 and R7. Is there requirement on the range?

Just want to check on how to select the resistance for below R6 and R7 to get 0.5V and then how to select resistance from 0.5V to 0.45V.

Hello Given,

R6 and R7 can be selected according to the formula Vout = 0.5V = (1.25V * R7)/(R6+R7). The other resistor divider can be calculated in the same way as 0.45V = (0.5V*R2)/(R1+R2). The resistor range should be sized so that the current through them does not exceed the recommended REF3312 output current of 5mA.

Is there requirement on max resistance? for example, we use Mohm resistor. Is it Ok?

Hi Given,

There is no requirement on max resistance as long as the resistors can provide enough current to drive the load in your application.
