Hi, experts,

If I disconnect buck0, SW_B0 pin doesn't connect inductor to Vout0, can this phase work under low current?

Hi Pan,

Phase configuration is not changeable and is fixed in the OTP. BUCK0 is also the primary buck in the 2-phase configuration and it is the phase that is always switching even when automatic phase adding and shedding is used.

Hi, Samuli, thank you for replying so quickly. that means Vout0 wont work normaly, how about take buck1 part,leave primary buck0

Hi Pan,

In theory it could work if the PMIC is not operating in forced multiphase operation and output current is always low enough that the second phase would not start to switch. However, this is definitely not recommended or endorsed by TI and should not be used in the design.

Recommendation is to LP87524-Q1 version of the device where there are 4 single phase outputs.
