LM63615-Q1: LM63615DQPWPRQ1 - Pulse 5b of 35V (400ms) - is sustainable? - 15 Pulse each/min.

Part Number: LM63615-Q1

We are using LM63615DQPWPRQ1 Step Down Voltage Converter in our design as we are using the TVS Diode of rated 24V and Vbr = 26.7 and clamping of 38.9V So during the Pulse 5b - TVS remain in the Breakdown region, and it gets on - large current is flowing and damaging itself.

So we are checking our product with TVS Diode - 33V rated, Vbr=36.7 and clamping voltage of 53.3, So in this case Pulse 5b - 35V time -400ms is directly applied it to LM63615DQPWPRQ1 which is having the voltage range of 3.6V to 36V. So can this IC Sustain the Pulse 5b ?

Please check on the Priority.

Kind Regards,

Shubham
