LM5118: Inductor Overheating

Part Number: LM5118

Hello Team,

We are using a Buck-Bosst converter using the LM5118MH. The input is 32.5V to 54.6V. The output is 48V. When we draw a current of 0.8A through this converter using a stepper motor, The inductor L7 of 97.6uH overheats so much that it gets too hot to touch. But we get 48V at the ouput.

My question is that this is definitely not normal. What might be the issue here?

Also we want to run this converter at full load of 4A. Is this safe? as it is overheating for 0.8A I dont want the circuit to go up in smoke at 4A

Thanks
