Due to the delivery issue of the existing product (TPS2044BD) from the customer, we are considering replacing it with the product below.

- LM3544MX-L/NOPB

- TPS2044DR

Please refer to the block below.

Are there any differences in electrical characteristics?

Which of the two products above is the best replacement?

Please check if it is suitable to replace with the corresponding product.

Hi MJ,

You mean the TPS2044BD is the TPS2044B, and its package is D-SOIC, right?

And you mean the TPS2044DR is the TPS2044, and its package is D-SOIC, and package box is R, right?

So you want to use the TPS2044 replace the TPS2044B, actually they have the same package, and pin 2 pin, but they have the different features:

TPS2044B:

And also their diagram are different, TPS2044 have four Charge Pump, and TPS2044B only has one Charge Pump.

So from my side, my advice is that you can contact our marking engineer Wanqi(Yao, Wanqi <wanqi-yao@ti.com>) to push the deliver issue, or if you are urgent, please give me your email, I will let her contact you, thank you.

Hi MJ,

It should be Pin to Pin for the package, but they have the difference features too, I don't know our customers whether need it or not, for example the TPS2044B:70-mΩ High-Side MOSFET, and LM3544:90mΩ (typ.) High-Side MOSFET Switch.
