TPS55165-Q1: Power design help

Part Number: TPS55165-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM51581

Hi Team,

Can you help clarify the question below?:

There are three fixed voltage supplying (5V(5%), 12V(5%) and 24V(5%)) into the customer board, and the output voltage is 5.1V(2%). There is only one power supply when the board is working properly. The maximum load current is 1.5A. I am looking for a chip that can output 5V on all three power supplies. I saw that the minimum VIN_startup of TPS55165 is 5.3V, so when only 5V power supply is available, is it possible to output 5V(3%)? Because TPS55165 needs a minimum starting voltage of 5.3V.

Do you have other product recommendations? will LM5156DSSR or TPS40211DGQR in buck-boost topology?

I hope you can help.

Regards,

Marvin
