TPS61085: Short Circuit Protection

Hello,

Are there any devices like TPS61085 that have any kind of integrated short circuit protection? Board space is limited so I'm hoping to find a solution that doesn't require more components.

    Hi Michael,

    For devices like TPS61085, I assume the input and output to be same level.

    TPS61046 and TVL61046A have an input voltage of 1.8V to 5.5V and output up to 28V. But their current limit is around 1A.

    TPS61081 is also viable. Its input voltage is 2.5V to 6V and output up to 27V, and the current limit is 1.3A.

    For larger current limit, TPS61372 will be a solution, it has a quite small package using DSBGA. Its current limit is 3.8A.
