UCC256402: Can we use this SOC as 12v battery charger?

When I use the resistive load LLC works properly. But when the LLC output connects to the 12V battery the LLC output goes to zero.

    Hi Mithun,

    Yes. The UCC256402 can be used as a battery charger. Here is a reference design using the older version of the controller in an e-bike charger (PMP40766).

    Have you tried to capture the waveforms when connecting to the 12V battery? One of the first things, I would look for is whether or not the controller is shutting down because the over-current protection is getting tripped.
