I am looking at the BQ25887 datasheet (SLUSD89B) and have found in the graph of what stages of charging (sec 8.3.4.2, pg 20), also the Charging Safety Timer section (sec 8.3.4.6, pg 23), the safety timer is marked as CHG_TIMER[0:1] however in the register writeup (sec 8.5.6, pg 38) it says the same setting is for fast-charging time.
If CHG_TIMER is the safety timer, what criteria ends the fast-charging period? If it's the fast-charging timer, how long is the safety timer period?
