TUSB1046-DCI: Control the dp and pd switching of tusb1046 in jetson

Does HUSB311 support DP Alt Mode? I don't see it is being mentioned in its datasheet. Why not use the TPS6598x family of PD controller for this design? The VBUS switch will be included in TPS6598x.

I made a mistake in my description above. Correction: I used husb311 for usb type-c CC detection and jetson to control the dp and usb3.0 switching of tusb1046. Is there a corresponding driver or reference?

Where is Jetson in the block diagram? Is Jetson going to participate in the DP Alt Mode over the CC lines?

Hi David,

Jetson is on the far right side of the block diagram, and the largest rectangle represents jetson. Jetson participates in DP Alt mode through CC line, which is to detect CC through husb311. Jetson controls husb1046 to automatically switch between dp and usb3.0

Please double check on the statement 'Jetson participates in DP Alt mode through CC line, which is to detect CC through husb311' since we do not own Jetson and husb311 and both of them are the main blocks in this design to make it working. But based on Nvidia response below, you need a 3rd-party PD controller which can't be supported by husb311.
