Hi team,

When we want to set the default output voltage to 0.85V whose load current is 10A, should we use TPS62872QWRXSRQ1? And should R_VSEL be 6.2kOhm?

When they don't use I2C, could you tell how to deal with the SDA & SCL pins? They just need only 0.85V.

Hi Takahashi-san,

There is non I2C part : TPS62872N0QWRXSRQ1 as current requirement is 10A. Please connect SCL/SDA pin to GND if you don't want to use I2C feature and you can use additional resistor divider that can help you to adjust the output voltage to 0.85V.

I am still confused, because it seems that TPS62872QWRXSRQ1 can also output 0.85V by setting R_VSEL to 6.2kOhm, but all TPS62872 variations can output 0.85V as you mentioned.

Are there any differences between followings to set 0.85V?

1. Use TPS62872QWRXSRQ1 by setting R_VSEL to 6.2kOhm

2. Use TPS62872N0QWRXSRQ1 by setting external resistors

Hi Takahashi-san,

There is no difference on design, Non I2C device has only I2C block disable.

I agree with your recommendation if customer want 0.85V it is good to use TPS62872QWRXSRQ1 part by connecting Vsel pin to ground through 6.2KOhm resistor.
