Hi,

I am using TPS54060 as Inverting converter from +12V to -12V and One more circuit as From +12V to -24V. in this circuit When i switched ON i observed the output for sometime after It draws more current even in No Load condition. I have used all components as per the Switch pro Excel sheet calculator. Inductor value 68uH, Rcomp 52.1K , Cboot 100nf, Czero and Cpole 33nf, 100pf and CSS 100nf. I verified the circuit with Ref design also any other problem could lead to operate like this.If I leave for Sometime the Internal FET shorted.

One more Doubt I want to use same TPS54060 as Boost configuration for generating from +12V to +24V it can be usable since i did not get any Boost configuration design Example.

Can i see your schematic and some waveforms? I would like to see PH node voltage as well as inductor current (you can lift one end of the inductor and attach a 2 - 3 inch wire in series and use a clamp on current probe).

No, boost topology is not supported for TPS54060.

In my Schematics I am mentioned as 150uH Inductor That is mistake but In circuit I am using 68uH, 1.5A Power inductor.

I have Tested Two Inverting DC-DC Converters (+12 to -12V and +12V to -24V)Now working Fine and I have tested upto 0.25A Load. But still I don't Find any reason why First one TPS54060 Internal FET Shorted in +12V to -12V Inverting DC -DC converter section. I am doing Hand soldering so may be Power Pad not properly soldered or something else. Now the waveforms are looking Ok. Switching Frequency also 490khz.

The waveforms of PH pin as follows for +12V to -24V converter

No Load condition it is in PSM Mode

Loaded at 0.25A DCM Mode
