LM61460-Q1: IC efficiency in different Tamb

Hi Team,

As title, do we have IC efficiency in different Tamb. For example, we assume the condition is 12Vin, 5Vout and 3AIout. And we ignore the LC filter power loss. 

Do we have efficiency chart of IC in different temp? I used webench to do the simulation, but the result is the same when I used Tamb = 25C and 75C.

    Hello Roy,

    Unfortunately the only other available data is the efficiency chart in the datasheet  which are all measured at room temperature. 

    However you can ballpark calculate the new expected efficiency knowing that at higher ambient temperature there will be more MOSFET conduction losses.

    In this case, instead of using typical Rdson value, you can calculate the new efficiency with max Rdson value.
