TPS61096A: new device recommend

Hi team,

My customer is using our TPS61096A now.

And they wonder if we have a newer device to recommend.

Requirements:

Vin:0-6V

Vout:>15V

Iq:<1uA

Soft start time: <1ms

    Hi Brian,

    Could you provide more information about the following items?

    1. For the Vin, what's the min required voltage? ~0V is surely not available. Can customer accept the use to separate the Vin and Vinductor?
    2. What's the maximum Vout?
    3. Is the max Iq= 1uA?
    4. Is the max soft start time = 1ms?

    Could you also share some more information about customer's application which needs these requirements?

    Hi Lei,

    1.The Vin can be 1-6V.

    2.Max Vout >15V is OK.

    3.max Iq=1uA.

    4.max soft start time = 1ms

    It is used for back clamped ultrasonic flowmeter.

    So they need fast soft start time to rapidly response for the ultrasonic test, and also they need low Iq to achieve a low power comsumption.

    Hi Brian,

    Currently TPS61096A will be the most suitable option for the descripted application, and no newer version yet.

    If customer required max 1ms ss time and can't accept typ 1mm ss time, then need to look for other options.
