LM3410: LM3410 for Maximum current

Hi, Support Team

I am considering using LM3410. Would you please check whether LM3410 for 2 series circuit can support?

if 1pcs of LED vf:2.65v~3.1v for 2 series circuit; maximum current is?

if 1pcs of LED vf:2.65~3.1v for 4 series circuit; maximum current is?

if any suggestion, Please advise me.

    Hi Lawrence,

    • The switch current limit is 2.1A (MIN) / 2.8A (TYP). Below picture is a screen capture from Section 6.5 Electrical Characteristics in the datasheet.

    • As long as the thermal shutdown is not triggered, LM3410 can drive the 2.8-A (typical) peak current with the internal NMOS switch.
