TPS1HB08-Q1  is use to drive 12v/10A to infotainment system in automotive

Kindly please review the schematics share the feedback

  • Nithin,

    • There is not resistor/diode network on the ground pin. If reverse polarity protection is a requirement, please refer to section 9.3.1.4 Reverse Battery in the datasheet.
    • There are no capacitors on the output. For optimized EMC performance we recommend the following (IC and system gnd are the same if you don't have the ground network):

    • The SNS resistor is 1k. During a fault condition, this means that 5.3mA could be coming out of the SNS pin that would result in a voltage of 5.3V. Make sure that your MCU's ADC can handle this voltage or add something like a Zener clamp.
    • Are there any significant capacitances or inductances on the load (and if so what are the values?)
  • 1. Reverse battery protection circuitry added before this circuit (LM74810). can I add resistor/diode network on the ground.

    2. 3.6v is the max input voltage range of ADC pin

    3. six 1000uf/63v caps in this line. In this circuit have another parallel power device and parallel circuitry power is  32v/7A and TPS1HB08  use to dive 12V/7A
