So I was simulating the efficiency of this chip in pSPICE and one of the factors I was testing against was load. I know that some of these chips have light load efficiency, so I wanted to demonstrate that by graphing the switch output for different loads. I would expect the lighter loads to have a lower switching frequency, but when I simulate it at 150mA load and 2.5A load that is not what I see. I see that the higher load has a lower frequency which doesn't make sense to me in terms of light load efficiency. What am I missing?
