Hi Team,
Do we still have UCC28810EVM-001? Where can I apply it?
If not, does UCC28810EVM-003 can be modified to a single stage Flyback? How to do it?
Thanks.

Francis

Hi JCHK,
which can be found on ti.com:
https://www.ti.com/product/UCC28810
Customer needs to evaluate it at first.

Hi Francis,
There is no current inventory or restock plans for anything other than the -003 EVM. I can see if we have some lying around.
Hi JCHK,
Thanks, on the other hand, can 003 EVM be modified to a single stage Flyback?
Customer only need to evaluate this device in Flyback circuit.

Francis
Hi Francis,
If you want to look at the EVM -003 as a pure flyback, the EVM schematic on page 4 of the EVM guide has notes on how to use it without a boost follower and you use the PFC+ to GND as the load.
Is this what you are trying to do?
Hi JACK,
But in EVM -003, UCC28810D controls the PFC stage, UCC28811D controls the Buck stage and TPS92020D controls the Flyback. PFC+ to GND seems cannot directly control a Flyback.
What customer wants is the circuit figure in UCC 28810 datasheet:

Hi Francis,
This is why I recommended following PMP10155
This seems like it is what your customer would like to do.
Hi JCHK,
Sorry for missing that, I checked that you are right. Thanks for your help. No problem here.
