TPS16632RGER FLT_N signal toggling during over current

Please share VIN,VOUT,IIN,FLT waveform on same scope shot to understand better what is happening. What kind of load you are using?

Hi Kunal,

Please find attached waveforms as requested on both normal load 300mA and overload >2500mA resistive load (rheostat)

In waveforms Yellow channel(1) indicates VIN, Blue channel(2) indicates VOUT, and Purple(3) indicates FLT signal.

and also added Output current measurements.

Hi Rehaman,

Looks like VOUT is going negative causing device to reset. VOUT negative can affect logic inside device. We will need to use some cap and schottky diode at output to limit VOUT negative value.

Thanks for the prompt response, I have verified the VOUT, it is not going to negative side. do you see any other possibilities?

Can you change scale to 1V/div to check? Sometimes at higher V/div scope does not properly capture small peaks. Also please share schematic for review. Is it possible to probe current also?
