BQ24031: Does this device have over-discharge protection for Li-ion battery?

Hi all,

I read the datasheet but could only find pre-charge for low voltage battery.

Does this device prevent over-discharging of the battery? That is, the function detects low battery voltage (e.g. 3.0V) and turns off Q2.

Or should I detect a low voltage in my system and shut off the OUT pin?

Hi,

This device does not have a battery undervoltage lockout (BUVLO). For a device with the BUVLO feature, take a look at the BQ25180.
