TPS628502-Q1: COMP Pin Connection

Hi TI expert,

For the TPS628502-Q1, may I know whether we have any limitation of the COMP pin?

I check the datasheet that it doesn't mention about the leakage current or sink current of this COMP pin.

Kindly let me know whether it has any limitation when connecting COMP pin to VIN.

Hello Chia Cheng,

There is limitation in terms of absolute maximum rating. It shpuld not be more than Vin+0.3V

Hi Farhenn,

I mean if we connect it to Vin with an pull-up resistor, does that resistor has any limitation?

Like do not over 10k ohm due to leakage current?

Or do not over 100k ohm because it will affect the voltage level.

Hello Chia Chen,

You can not connect with resistor to Vin, for logic high you have to connect directly to Vin.

We might reserve 0 ohm pull-up resistor just in case we need to adjust the design on the board.
