LM22680: LM22680QMRE-ADJ/NOPB Webench simulation

Part Number: LM22680

Hi,

I was using the Webench tool to simulate LM22680QMRE-ADJ/NOPB with the following inputs

Vin(min) - 22V
Vin(max) - 24V
Vout - 12V
Iout - 2A

But the webench gives a design fail popup.

Could anyone explain me the reason?

Hi Elena,

Is there any input violation i'm giving to this part in webench or its a tool issue. Because whenever i change the values, especially input voltage ranges, the tool gives the proper circuit..

Looking like this is an old device ,I am not sure if reversion Webench tool is possible.

You can design a SCH first and sent E2E for us to review ,we can also help on that.

Hi, Hareesh,

The design look good to me without big issue, suggest to increase Cout, and input 0.1uf is better to have.

below is Webench result, you can also take as reference.

BTW, if this is your new project we strongly recommend new device LMR51420 LMR36520 LMR43620
