BQ24735: PMIC ACFET Drive Issue

Part Number: BQ24735

Hi,

We are using BQ24735RGRT PMIC in one of our projects.

We performed required tests on PCBA like measuring current on various rails, outputs of regulators used in our design.

the PMIC (BQ24735RGRT) output used as sys voltage and is voltage used as input voltage to the rest regulators (As we are generating different voltages within using buck regulators like 1V8,3V3, 5V..etc),

After 2 days, I tried to turn ON PCBA, where I could not see that required voltages not generated, then I tried to find the issue, but I observed that that BQ24735RGRTit supposed to generate some voltage on pin No 4, around 15V-16V but this was not generated.

Next step unknowingly I touched PMIC then I Observed that it was working as intended, then i measured voltage at Pin No 4 and observed that the voltage as 17V.

I tried turning OFF and ON again faced the same problem.

Now the issue is that unless placing finger on PMIC which on PCBA, PMIC is not working.

I request you if any one of you faced the similar issue, please suggest how to resolve the issue.

Regards,
