TPS254900-Q1: TPS254900-Q1 some question

We are currently evaluating the design changes the USB2.0 type A port to type C and supports BC1.2 CDP.

Please help to check the following questions for design evaluation.

Q1. Do we need to put a CC controller or is it okey to just put 22k ohm resistor on CC pin? Any concern for USB-IF certification?
Q2. If CC controller is needed, does TI has any solution similar to TPS254900-Q1 but support CC configuration as well?
Q3. Further, it seems we need to add an USB re-driver to pass USB SI learned ,does TI has 3 in 1 solution (CC controller, re-driver, BC1.2) to replace TPS254900-Q1?

if any suggestion, Please advise me.
