Hi,

We do not have data line waveform after the BC1.2 detection on D+/D- as we release the ownership of these signal after the detection is finished.

The data hub takes ownership of D+/D- after detection and perform enumeration and data transfer. We only pass through the D+/D- and the waveform will be determined by the DFP and UFP.

Hi,

data hub is referring to whichever USB hub of your choice if you have multiple ports or the MCU that will be handling the data.

Hii Tommy,

If I use tps2540 evaluation board then can I connect slave at the usb male side and at other output female connector side can I use my mobile phone as a master device?

Could you please suggest me how I charge my phone as well as transfer the data at the same time with USB type C?

Hi,

The EVM does not have data capability unless you have a host connected to the plug (J2). Please note that on the TPS2540EVM only the J3 upper connector have data line connected to J2.

The power source of the EVM can either be J2 or J1.

Hi Tommy,

Could i connect slave at J2 connector and host/my mobile phone to the upper connector of the TPS 2450 EVM ?

Hi,

If you mean the connection at J2 is a Type-A receptacle of power brick or PC/NB, yes you can.

Hi,

At J2 connector i want to attach the USB hub and at the another side upper connector i want to attach the master device which sends the data.
