LM3409: LM3409 Maximum operating voltage

Dear All：
    According to the Spec， the Input is Maxim voltage is 75V,  The actual input voltage is 75V, so it won't be damaged, right.(We can make sure the input voltage don't more than 75V， DC power supply output). What is the margin for using this parameter？

    As long as you can make sure the input voltage never over recommended operation spec, it is ok. 

    However, considering engineering design avoiding potential risk, different company has derating request, like 90% down to 70% etc. depends on spec, application etc.
