Hello,

I have made the typical application schematic given on page 25 of the datasheet on Pspice for TI. I am unable to simulate the schematic. I have followed all the component values as per the typical application circuit. The simulator is unable to converge it seems based on the selected inductor and capacitor values. I am unable to understand whether is there anything missing in the schematic that I have not characterized or is it some other problem. I have attached the screenshots of the simulation, schematic and the datasheet herewith. Kindly provide me a feedback on this.

Hi Nihil,

If you've already matched all the external components and main IC, there might be something else interfering with the simulation. I see that datasheet schematic includes an oscillator input to the RTC/SYNC pin but I don't believe this necessary for PMIC operation. The resistor should be sufficient for that pin.

I am not as familiar with the PSPICE simulation platform so I will connect you with the PSPICE E2E team to see if they can provide further insight. I will also remain involved with the thread to assist where possible.
