BQ24045: BQ24045 Abnormal charging indication

Part Number: BQ24045

Hi

The customer design with BQ24045, they use USB to charge 120mAh lithium battery. charging current setting: 120mA, R_ISET = 4.7KΩ, R_PRE-TERM = 2KΩ.

Phenomenon: Charge with a single lithium battery, charge to above 4.2V, and it has been in a trickle state, and the charging indicator CHG red light has been on for more than 24 hours.

Resistor resistance R_ISET = 4.7KΩ, R_PRE-TERM = 2KΩ

Please help check it.

Waiting for your reply.

Thanks

    The schematic looks OK.

BQ2404X family of devices has TTDM mode which will disable termination if TS is open.  R1 (10k) is installed ?

What is voltage at ISET during this time, indication of current going to battery?
