Recommend an Automotive grade highly efficient Boost converter/regulator IC

Hi,

Could you recommend a high efficient automotive grade (AEC-Q) boost converter/regulator IC for a 20W application.

Application details is as follows :

Input voltage range : 9V to 16V

Output Voltage : 24V

Output current : Maximum 1A

Efficiency : Preferably 90% and above

Please suggest suitable IC options that best fit into above application and kindly consider this query ASAP.

Also please provide the unencrypted PSPICE transient model for the recommending ICs.

Hi Johny:

How about non-sync solution LM5157 with the low side mosfet integrated ? do you consider cold crank and load dump test in this project ?

according the spec , it seems that the boost will conncet to car battery directly.

Hi Naveen,

I agree with Erics suggestions of the LM5157/LM5158 series.
If a synchronous approach is preferred, we also have LM5123 as high efficiency boost controller. But due to external FETs, this approach has higher costs.
