TPS25750: PD3.0 support with BQ25758

Hi,

Does TPS25750 can support PD3.0 DFP with BQ25758?

I've saw previous post said it can't support PD function with TPS55288. But don't know is it possible support communication for BQ25758.

My customer have PD3.0 100W output application with 42V input voltage.

    Hi Jeff, 

    TPS25750 only supports BQ25790/2, BQ25731 and BQ25713. Any other BQ devices will require MCU host to take control via I2C. 

    There are new PD controllers on our roadmap that will support BQ25758 but TPS25750 is not included. 

    If applicable can you disclose who is the customer, what kind of end product they're designing, and their project timeline?

    Thanks for the infomation, I will send you another mail and loop local FAE.

    We can discuss more detail for new deivce. I think it may have chance use it in new project.
