  • Hi John,
For Packs Above 65535mV use VScale=0001

The following is a section from the TRM (http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/sluu481/sluu481.pdf) Section 5.1.6

    5.1.6
When the user elects to set the VScale bits in the SpecificationInfo(0x1A) Command to 0001 it means that
the reported Voltage(0x09) is actual pack mV divided by ten. This allows pack voltages greater than
65535mV to be reported. If VScale is set to 0000, then Voltage(0x09) is actual pack mV.
It is the responsibility of the SMBus Host Controller to interpret this value correctly.

Please let me know if you have tried the above and are still experiencing problems.

    Regards,

    Ben

I have read what you said chapters, and I have set VScale is 0001,the reported Voltage(0x09) is actual pack mV divided by ten. Thanks a lot.

    Best Regards.
