HSS-MOTHERBOARDEVM: Does it has TPS1HCxxx series daughter card veriant?

Part Number: HSS-MOTHERBOARDEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2HB08-Q1, TPS27SA08, TPS2HB35-Q1, TPS2HB50-Q1, TPS1HA08-Q1, TPS2HB16-Q1, , TPS1HC100EVM, TPS1HC30EVM, TPS1HB08-Q1

Hi team,

Does it has TPS1HCxxx-Q1 series daughter card?

Do you have TPS2HB08-Q1 daugher card and RTMed one?

Does this HSS-MOTHERBOARDEVM deal with other part # than "TPS27SA08, TPS1HA08-Q1, TPS2HB08-Q1, TPS2HB16-Q1, TPS2HB35-Q1, and TPS2HB50-Q1"?

Why does this EVM has 12Vinmax limitation? Is it related to HSS TSD limitation?

Regards,
Ochi

  • Ochi-san,

    1. We offer TPS1HC100EVM and TPS1HC30EVM. For any other devices, please contact the team directly. HC devices are not meant to be used with the motherboard evm.

    2. We do not offer TPS2HB08-Q1. The lowest RON device is TPS1HB08-Q1.

    3. The motherboard is meant for HB and HA series of devices. TPS27SA08 can also function on this motherboard evm.

    4. The EVM is built to support 12V automotive applications which is the majority of applications that the HA and HB devices are built to address.

    Thanks,

    Shreyas

  • Hi Shreyas,

    4. Why does this EVM has 12Ainmax limitation? Is it related to HSS TSD limitation?

Apologize for typo for question #4... Could you answer abeve?

    Regards,
    Ochi

  • Hi Ochi-san,

The 8 mOhm devices have a maximum nominal current of 10A and 11A. Therefore the EVM is only meant to support these devices.

This is a DC rating based on thermals of the device. Transient current pulses are allowed like in the event of a current limit fault.

    Thanks,

    Shreyas
