TPS68470: Question regarding WLEDMAXF Register,

My customer is developing a Camera module with PMIC (TPS68470) on Intel platform.

It’s hard to measure the total power current for these two IR-LEDs (flash mode) by power meter,

When we configured the value of “[10000]000” in the WLEDMAXF Register,

Does it mean that the max output current as 520mA in flash mode?

Could you help confirm that the actual current of WLED1 and WLED2 when the configuration?

Could you help check 520ma *2 is exceed the PMIC limitation (1000 mA)? Thanks.

Thank you for your feedback.

Due to it's an urgent project,

the camera module for Microsoft Windows Hello Face authentication certification,

it requires the current of IR-LEDs must be enough to pass the criteria (> 600mA) to avoid the image quality be affected under low light conditions.

Could you help make sure whether the actual output current meet the requirements and Not exceed the PMIC limitation ? Thanks.

We configured the settings of PMIC

Hi Sam,

Each LED output is capable of sinking up to 1000mA in flash mode. So these settings are okay.

Do you means that the total current source of PMIC ( I_WLEDC1 + I_WLEDC2=520+520=1040mA) ?
