Hello Sir:

Our end customer wants to know does there has any way to decrease the quiescent current on TPS7A2018PDQNR device?

Competitor part number is RT9073A-18GQZ, their Iq is around 1uA~3uA.

I cannot find other P2P device and Iq meets their spec.

If no way to decrease Iq, customer wants to know the possible reason why TPS7A2018PDQNR's Iq is higher?

Is the internal compensation circuit making this Iq result?

Please kindly provides some explanation to WIN this opportunity.

Hey Satham,

Quiescent current is the minimum current the internal circuitry of the device needs to function when the device is enabled.

I can forward this to a marketing engineer so they can recommend a part from our portfolio.

Hey Statham,

From Marketing: "TPS7A0318PDQNR is P2P and has lower IQ, but Iout_max = 200mA. TPS7A0218PDQNR is even lower IQ and also P2P."
