BQ24610EVM: My 6S battery is not charging, just draw 150mA from the power supply

Part Number: BQ24610EVM

I want to charge 6S1P li-ion battery. Firstly i changed R28 to 95k for 22.2V output battery voltage. My PS is 27V and TS voltage is 1.8V. But my power supply gives 150mA.

I wonder what is the problem with that? I left the related pictures below; power supplies, Vbat's signal and EVM card (ACDRV, D3, D5, STAT1 led's are lighting), respectively.

Update, I noticed there is no voltage Iset1, Iset2 while i see Vpullup is 3.6V. Is it cause of problem?

Hi Ramazan,

I have a couple follow-up questions:

1- What is the output voltage set to? (voltage setting at the load?)

2- What is the current limit on the power supply set to?

3- Are there any other modifications (other than R28) made to the board?

1- my output voltage is 21.6V

2- 3A

3- No, there is no any other modifications except for R28.

yes i tried this, however i decided to order new evm because i have doubt that this card is faulty.

Hi Ramazan,

I would suggest following the test procedure outlined in the EVM user's guide before changing R28.

Please let me know if you observe the same behavior on the new EVM!
