LV2862: Light load DC-DC

Hi,

I would like to use the Y version as a power source to my circuit (input voltage could be from 9-36V) with the following conditions:

Over sleep mode - the DC-DC should supply power of 20-30uA /7V.
Over power mode - the DC-DC should supply power of 50mA/7V,

Can these two options work?
Do I need to calculate the inductor value only according to the 50mA load?
what is the minimum current the DC-DC can supply?

Hi,

For your application, I will recommend you to choose LMR36006. Because LV2862 is an asynchronous converter and requires a diode. LMR36006 is a synchronous converter, It will also perform better.

Both of them can working in these two conditions. Please consider the inductor current when working at full load. The device works in DCM mode when Io=50mA. The minimum output current can be 0A (no load). Thanks.
