Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61099,
The datasheet mentions the minimum output voltage from this up-converter is 1.8V, is it possible to get a 1.6V output?

Hi Garg,
Sorry 1.6V output is impossible to achieve. You can try TPS61099 to get 1.6V.
Hi Sameer,
For both 099 and 299, there are conserns that the internal circuit cannot get enough power if the output voltage is not high enough. May I know your application & requirements so that I can advice you other solutions like Boost + LDO?
Best Regards,
Travis
Hi Travis
We have a serious space constraint in our design and hence do not want to add an LDO. We are using a coin cell (~1.2V) to power up an IC (requires ~1.6V)
Hi Sameer,
Sorry to say that we currently do not have such product. I'll re-assign this thread to PIMC team and see if they have boost with internal LDO.
Also, may I know what IC needs 1.6V so that we may make such product for your design in the future.
Best Regards,
Travis
Hi Sameer,
unfortunately the PMIC line does not have such a device. Usually our devices have at least three regulators which are typically bucks. Also we don't have such a low Vin device with our devices typically supporting down to 2.8 V. One of the smaller devices we have has a package size of 4.5mm x 5mm (vs. TPS61299 with the size of 1.2mm x 0.8mm).
regards,
Niko
