[FAQ] TPS6594-Q1: ASIL Compliance certificate for LEO PMIC ICs

The TPS6594 does have a certificate for ASIL compliance as it a part that helps achieve compliance (for a system) there are various safety documents that will demonstrate the Failure Mode Analysis of the device. These functional safety documents can be requested at the following link (safety document requests link here).

We do not have a 3rd party certificate for this semiconductor IC as it is not mandated in the ISO26262 standard, but we do have a independent assessor who nominated based upon ISO26262-part 2 criteria, this is assessment is reflected in the TPS6594-Q1 Functional Safety Report in the Mysecure weblink.

What is certification on the development flow by TÜV. (Certificate link here)

Note all documents in the Mysecure apply to all variants of the TPS6594XXXX (TPS65941213, TPS65941120, etc.)

as part of the assessment process do have internal documents that attest to the independence and competency of the assessor as per ISO26262 requirements.
