LMR38010: LMR38010 FSS EMI % Q1 difference?

Hi 

1. Do you mean does the EMI characteristics has difference when the fsw is different? and when the inductor is different accordingly?  The energy peak is at the fsw and its higher harmonics and attenuates as frequency increases.

2. It should be same when the device operates under CCM mode.

3. Do you have an typical application needs for 1 and 2 ?

4. The difference is that the LMR38010-Q1 is automotive rating and AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.

Is emi PEAK different at the same frequency depending on fsw (200MHZ ~ 2.2 MHz) when the surrounding environment is the same?

(difference between fsw 20MHz EMI peak & fsw 2.2MHz EMI peak)

The DS says "Spread spectrum option for reduced EMI", so I think there will be data. It doesn't matter if it's EK B'D EMI data.

Sorry for late reply. I tested the conducted EMI on the LMR38020EVM, The radiated EMI cannot be tested in our lab.

 Changing the RT to set fsw as 400kHz/1MHz, the test is performed under same BOM except RT. Please see the attachment. Please be noted that the emi is tested with no EMI Input Filter.LMR38010.docx
