LP2985: LP2985-50DBVR vs LP2985AIM5-5.0/NOPB

Part Number: LP2985

LP2985-50DBVR vs LP2985AIM5-5.0/NOPB

What is the difference between LP2985-50DBVR vs LP2985AIM5-5.0/NOPB?

  • Hi Alejandro,

These devices are in the same package, have the same pinout, and have extremely similar specs. They are, however, categorized under different generic part numbers. The reasoning for this is that the original device was acquired by TI with our acquisition of National Semiconductor, and TI subsequently released a "TI" version.

LP2985-50DBVR falls under GPN "LP2985," while LP2985AIM5-5.0/NOPB falls under GPN "LP2985-N." Here the -N indicates the National Semiconductor GPN.

    Regards,
    Kelsey
