TPSM8D6B24: Support in Fusion Digital Power Designer

In this 1 year old thread the question, if there will be support for the TPSM8D6B24 in the Fusion Digital Power Designer, was already answered:

The device should have been added by last year to the "Fusion GUI Power Designer", which is a software I could not find anywhere. Instead I am now using the Fusion Digital Power Designer v7.10.1 [2023-10-27] and I can not select the TPSM8D6B24. Am I using the wrong software? Can you provide a link to the correct software? Or is there some add-on, that I need to install?

    The Fusion Digital Power Designer and the "Fusion GUI" are the same tool, so you are using the right software! Are you using Fusion in offline mode? If so, you can select the TPSM8D6C24 from the list of available devices. These devices share the same user interface and command list. I will confirm on my side that TPSM8D6B24 can be detected on a live device, it will take me a few days to receive the evaluation board & confirm. I will update you here

    Thank you for your fast reply. I had a look in the Fusion offline mode, however, I can only find the following device list:

    Offline Device List

    The only module that can be found is the TPSM846C23, which has only one rail and therefore seems to differ from the TPSM8D6C/B24 that I should be looking for.

    When it comes to the online mode, I can verify the device responding to a Raspberry Pi I2C scan and the USB Interface Adapter is recognized by the software. So I seem to be only lacking the device in the list.

    The TPSM8D6C24/B24 actually use the same command list and user interface as TPS546D24A.  Feel free to select TPS546D24A from the offline list or you can open the attached file below, which is a system file pulled directly from a TPSM8D6C24 evaluation board. Please refer to the steps below for opening the system file:

    4. Click 'Select File' and navigate to the location where you have saved the system file

    I confirmed that TPSM8D6B24 is supported. When detecting a TPSM8D6B24 device, Fusion will display the part ID for TPSM8D6C24 as they have the same user interface. This user interface is also the same for TPS546D24A, so if you are using offline mode you can select the TPS546D24A from the list of available parts. I will close this ticket now
