This IC is connected to GND with the FB pin and used as a current-limiting switch.

In this case, is the drop voltage Max=500mV as stated in the data sheet? Or will it be a different value?

Hi Kentaro,

The dropout spec in the EC table is only for IOUT = 100mA, but the dropout is load- and temperature-dependent. Please refer to Figure 7 to see how dropout varies with load and temperature.
