From the datasheet of TPS61500 (SLVS893F –DECEMBER 2008–REVISED MAY 2019), it states in the beginning that
3-A, 40-V Internal Power Switch
– Four 3-W LEDs From 5-V Input
– Eight 3-W LEDs From 12-V Input
May I know that are you referring to when you state Four 3-W LEDs or Eight 3-W LEDs?
Does this means four or 8 columns of 3 white LEDs?
Or the 3-W is referring to 3 Watts.
I currently would like to use it on my LCD panel that has 7 columns of 7 LED each, total 49 LEDs. Can I use 5V input to the TPS61500 to drive the LEDs?
